“It’s really hard to find a copywriter in the Twin Cities who does more than just headlines.”
I heard this from two different clients last year. And each time I thought, “Are you kidding me? What kind of princess gets by on just doing headlines?” Whoops, did I say that out loud?
Let’s talk about this on the next #CopyTalk.
Log onto Twitter, hop over to the chat room (where all of your tweets are automatically tagged with #copytalk), and tell me:
- Do you know any copywriters who ‘live by headlines alone’?
- Do you think we have a deficiency of versatile copywriters in the Twin Cities, or is narrow specialty the norm? (if you’re not a Twin Citian, give us your local story)
- Where have all the copywriters gone? Are they tying the knot with agency life, nestling away in corporate gigs, or disappearing into other markets?
I’ll be cranking up the #copytalk at 9:30pm cst and we’ll talk until 10:30. Why so late? Why not during business hours?
Do you really have to ask?
PS Thanks to the bravehearts who participated in last week’s spontaneous inaugural #copytalk:
